About UNICON

In 2013, the first Global Entrepreneurship Conference (GEC) was launched in NUS with the goal of connecting student entrepreneurs all over the world to create a global network of innovators. In 2018, GEC was rebranded as UNICON. Since then, UNICON has connected thousands of students, partnered with dozens of universities and inspired students to solve real world problems.
UNICON is the largest entrepreneurship & tech conference in Asia, with an emphasis on students, by students. We strive to promote entrepreneurship in Singapore and beyond through the flagship UNICON conference.
UNICON also hosts TigerLaunch (Asia), the world’s largest student-run entrepreneurship competition, in a partnership with the Princeton Entrepreneurship Club, where startups from all over Asia pitch themselves to a panel of venture capitalists.
The 2 day conference serves to unite both local and international student entrepreneurs, local start-ups, angel investors and venture capitalists. Each year, outstanding young entrepreneurs from across Asia are gathered, challenged and inspired through our activities line-up.
The recent UNICON 2025 saw over 400+ participants and 30+ established speakers! The conference also included the startup carnival exhibition booths, where student startup founders and companies from all over Asia gathered to share what they are working on.
